The Pioneer4You IPV Pure X2 Tank will blow your mind.

Based on Yihi’s exacting technical expertise and technology, the Pioneer4You IPV Pure X2 Tank is an atomizer that has a core that uniformly heats the element with surgical precision. The three-month lifespan lowers residual costs of vaping as it does not require anything but a wick. Top-fill and easy to use, with adjustable bottom airflow, the Pure X2 does not require in-depth knowledge to perform great.

This interesting atomizer has a really low resistance, between 0.05-0.19 ohms, and works in power mode. In order for the atomizer to function, you need to set your IPV5 or SX Mini to “SX pure mode” and exit out of the menu. Then enter the menu again and switch the mod to power mode. The Pure X2 works only in power mode, not in temperature control mode.

Pioneer4You IPV Pure X2 Tank features include:

  • Yihi engineering
  • No coil – heating element lasts months
  • 23mm diameter
  • 3.5ml juice capacity
  • Requires SX Pure setting on your Yihi-chip based device
  • Package includes one extra spare glass tank section and pre-sliced organic cotton wicks
  • The heating core replacements will be released soon

Note: The IPV Pure X2 tank currently only works with the Yihi SX mini ML Class and the IPV5 by Pioneer4You. A firmware update will be released for use with the IPV D3 as well.

Warning: Do NOT attempt to use this atomizer on any mechanical mod period (regular mechanical and especially hybrid mechanicals). The 510 pin is not designed for use with mechanical mods. The only supported devices currently for this tank are the Pioneer4You IPV5 and Yihi SX Mini ML & Q regulated mods. This atomizer has extremely low resistance and irresponsible use can lead to battery failure and venting, which is very dangerous.

    Question

Just got this pure tank. There are no instructions in the box to tell you how to run it. Naturally one would believe it needs to be run in joules mode because that’s the only way to select the sx pure option. Thankfully I came back here and read what you say about switching back to power mode and it is working fine so far. So my question is why doesn’t it run in temp control? I have read at least 3 of the p4y advertisement saying it can run temp up to 70j. Is this something that they’re going to release but haven’t perfected the tcr for it or is it just total b.s?
Thanks for your help and it might be a good idea to make your instructions in bold print or something so people who order here remember about that.

Hi Jason, That is something P4U and Yihi hasn’t ironed out yet. They made the tank work in power mode but have not yet made it work in temp mode. Keep in mind, temp control depends on the system’s ability to read the temperature of coil. If you can’t do that right, you won’t have true temp control. The Pure X2 core is made from a different metal than what we are used to. The engineers are working on it! =)

2 out of 5 Bought two and only one worked :(

Bought two of these Pure x2 tanks a silver, black and one of the high tech elements failed to operate. The one that did operate leaks juice like crazy. I hope Pioneer comes up with a cure for the leakage problem and brings out a replacement element soon. Save your money for the corrected version.

Had the same problem the ipv 5 said check atomizer , I found if I take the clear o ring off the ipv 5 will read it . I did notice the ohms start off at .05 and will end up around .19 so my voltages will fluctuate , I tried setting resistance but it still does it so I get burnt cotton . I’m going to order another head and see if the problem is fixed

Corrected the leak on one of the tanks to the point I feel satisfied with one of the tanks. The other one though still does not operate.

2 out of 5 Hype for nothing!

I have to say that I’m not impressed with this tank at all. The flavor is not good and the vapor production is terrible. Too much cotton and you get burned hits, too little and it leaks all over the place. More testing and fine tweaks are needed for this thing to be viable. Don’t be an early adopter and test subject like me, just wait until they perfect this a little more. Make sure if you have one the atomizer cap is screwed on the top of the atty. Mine was stuck to the post inside the tank, took me two days to realize it was supposed to screw on top of the atty for the tank to work right.

You know what Pioneer4you should do. Add another heating element to the deck to make it dual if they can figure out how to deliver enough Eliquid to it so it doesn’t leak but enough so no burnt hits. As it stands it just doesn’t have enough punch, then it would be awsome! You heard it here first! (just a thought)

1 out of 5 Needs Improvement!

Company P4U should work on leaks/flooding issues…should include in the manual the proper wicking procedure!

Got the blue pure x2 best flavor of any tank or rda iv ever had works great in sx pure mode running 38J, 413f make sure you set the resistance I have the ipv5 hit both adjustment buttons at the same time. You do not need to switch back into power mode to use. No leaks

4 out of 5 Didn't give it five stars because nothing is perfect. Read on...

I’ll be up front, right off the bat and tell you I had a b!tch of a time getting the wicking down so the tank wouldn’t leak. Took me like three attempts. Essentially you don’t want any spots open where juice can freely flow past the cotton and down out the air slots. It needs a air tight seal just like any other tank. Once I had the wicking down I actually was impressed by this tank. The flavor is fantastic, vapor production is impressive as well. To utilize this atomizer to its fullest potential you are going to need a SX device that supports the SX Pure coil. Don’t buy this tank otherwise. It’s resistance is extremely low just don’t bother unless your already on the SX Pure band wagon. In temp mode there’s no up/down temp fluctuation, just pure, consistent, stable vapor production. So IPV5, SX mini ML class, and SX Mini Q Class. As I mentioned previously, If you don’t own one of these three mods buy a different tank. And make sure your running the most up to date firmware on your SX device. Q Class supports it out of the box. ML Class and IPV5 need to be running the latest firmware to run this atomizer in temp control, as it was intended. If your a temp control fiddler junkie with an iron clad will to conquer this new and innovative vape tech, it’s a challenge well worth accepting.
